These templates can be used as starter templates. You have to be careful with custom templates in Turbo Lister. So you have to stay in HTML view to avoid this or switch back and forth and see what has changed and fix the code to be compatible in both views. You also have a feature to prefill parts of the site listing with default settings to be used when a template is created. Last you can duplicate a listing also to start a new listing and edit out the details that need to be changed.
This method can lead to corrupt HTML if the duplicate options is used often with the new listing being the last of a series of listing edited and changed many times over the months.

Set default values Turbo Lister also allows you to set default values for many form fields that are part of the Create Item process. Setting these defaults can speed up the item creation process considerably.
You can also set default values while you are creating an item by selecting the "Save for Future Listings" checkbox located at the bottom left of many pop-up windows. You'll be prompted to name and save the file somewhere on your local disk, and then a CSV file containing the listings you selected will be created. You'll be prompted to select the file you'd like to import, and then the listings will be imported into a new folder labeled "Imported from CSV".
